Can we just say that these pants were made for biking? Like biking where you need to wear armour and you get dirty and you sweat? Yes, and still want to look pretty fabulous while doing it? These are the pants. Vented, stretchy and held up to a nice wipeout on a gravel sand berm. Whoo Whoo finally a pair of biking pants I love.
I discovered Revel Rider through online reviews of DH pants for women, which are so hard to find! Ordered by the size guide, small is a great fit for me (5’7” 120 lbs). Appreciate the longer leg length, zip ankles for easy on-off, reinforced knees in front, special perforated breathable material behind the knee and on the inside thigh that feels airy on the chairlift. Love the well designed pockets, deep on the legs and super secure on the rear waistband that fits my iPhone 12. I am super satisfied with my purchase, these pants are top quality! I often wear them multiple days between washings till I run out of liner shorts then throw everything into the wash together. Quit wearing shorts on DH days, these pants provide better comfort and protection no matter how warm or cool the weather is on the mountain.
I LOVE the Flow pants ever since I got the originals and was super excited for this new updated version, but to be honest I am still a huge fan of the first version. I think these are great in different ways, very breathable and improved design. But I found that during lots of pedaling the lower zipper kept getting in the heel of my shoe and it was a bit distracting and I think the first version fit a little better in the legs in terms of length and taper. I soaked these at my last rain race and they felt great and still somewhat warm even in the cooler temps, and on hotter days they breathe really well so they are excellent for most conditions. Either way I still love both of them in different ways. I keep V1 for practice days and V2 for race days. Keep up the good work!
I've been searching for women's pants for DH riding/racing forever! So happy with these! I've tried a few brands in the past but the fit was never great. And moto pants are HOT in summer. The fabric of these is great for park riding and super comfy. My XL bulky knee pads fit under these even though I only wear a M size in pants! (I have BIG legs). Sizing is good. I tend to have issues with waist/hip ratio (big booty) and these are a bit big in the waist while fitting my booty, but the waist adjusters work great and provide a good adjustable fit without bunching or discomfort. Also love the high waist at back for ample butt coverage and no plumbers crack on the bike. These were so breathable the weekend I wore them in super humid 90 degree temps! They also held up perfectly in a hard slide out and dried really well overnight when I hand washed them in the evening. I love the blue color too!! Wishing for a solid red or rust color in the future!
Love my 1.0 Flow's and now I love my 2.0 Flow's too! I mostly ordered them because when I bought my 1.0's they were only available in red, and I wanted a pair of black ones. Deep pockets, good air flow, comfortable, good ass coverage. My only complaint would be that because I am only 5'1" they are a little long, and the zipper at the bottom of the legs gets kinds bunched up and it can be annoying and stiff feeling.
